When we treat analysis forex in one way or another is often included in the speech the term commodity or commodities, but what are really these commodities?

Commodities are raw materials or goods required standard, which can be produced anywhere and store, without requiring any other tools. Here is a list of Wikipedia, to understand immediately what we are talking about:  agricultural goods oats Soybean meal wheat corn soybean oil soybean colonial goods and tropical cocoa coffee cotton timber orange juice Tobacco sugar metals Aluminum Silver nickel gold palladium Platinum Copper Zinc energy assets Gasoline ethanol gas Naphtha oil meat cattle dairy cattle pigs bacon

These are just the main ones, which are traded in international markets: in particular are used as the basis for calculating the value of the future. Given this peculiarity of financial, commodities over time, have been increasingly subject to speculation.

The recent global economic crisis has


intensified even more critical situation in the commodities market: while in the first 6 months of 2008 had earned approximately 30%, from June to November there was a steep fall, with consequent loss of value of 45% and over 280 billion dollars translated into the future. The market value has dropped so much in some cases, that the price of production is equal if not greater than the purchase of the property.
