In the morning of Wednesday all the markets awoke with the bad news, the price of the petroleum barrel has surpassed the 130 dollars, pushed by a combination of preoccupation of long term production and the reserves in the future near. The increase in the price can fall like a surprise after which some information presented/displayed a slight increase in the reserves, but still can exist a lack in products refinings, including gasoline. Considering the closing of Tuesday and the tip of Wednesday, the crude American increase 1,07 dollars reaching the 130,05, the historical record; whereas London Brent increase 1,69 to be placed in 129.53 dollars. This increase also is related to a new fall of the dollar,

that has reduced the price of the commodities for investors with stronger currencies. In addition, the dollar in the last fell to its point lower month against a series of currencies, after which the Euro increase its value by expectations of an increase of interests in Europe. Consulted on this subject during a press conference, the Secretary General of the OPEC Abdullah al-Badri said that the weakness of the dollar is one of the factors that push the price of the barrel upwards. Speaking on a possible increase in the production, the official policy of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will not be modified, although Saudi Arabia, the producing major of the OPEC, has increased its production. In addition, according to a study of Petrologistics, the production in May has grown near 700,000 barrels per day in comparison with April. On to the future near and medium term, the millionaire T. Boone Pickens has said that it waits for a price by barrel of 150 dollars for the end of this year, after that Goldman Sachs said that the barrel could reach the 200 dollars for the 2010. When we see these prices, it is difficult to think that six years ago the price of the barrel only was underneath the 20 dollars, which could be translated in an increase of 1000% for the 2010 if the considered ones are fulfilled.
