Social Security achieved a surplus of 4.602 million in February-Video

The average membership of foreign workers at the end of February stood at 1,817,985 occupied in the month after winning a total of 11,112 contributors, according to data released today by the Ministry of Labour and Immigration. This slight increase of 0.6% in the second month of the year came after six consecutive months in which the foreign affiliate declines recorded since August 2009.
Of all foreigners who were affiliated to the Social Security at the end of February, 1,179,025 quoted the General Scheme, 261,122 to the agricultural system, Autonomous Regime 194,963, 177,545 to the Home, 4,610 to 720 to the Sea and Coal. Within the non-EU countries were 221,682 and 177,339 of Moroccan nationality,
Ecuador. Colombia, with 112,091 workers, stands as the third country of origin of members, ahead of China, with 74,424 contributors.
The remaining non-EU members were divided between Bolivia (71,478), Peru (69,710), Argentina (45,361), Ukraine (33,493), Dominican Republic (30,421) and Brazil (23,575), among others.
For his part, from which the EU-27, Romanian, Italian and Portuguese are the most numerous, with 280,316, 59,934 and 57,167 contributors, respectively. They were followed by Bulgarian and British, with 53,303 and 51,152, and a little further, the Germans, with 38,897 members.
Most of the foreigners who were affiliated with Social Security at the end of January fell under the general scheme, with 1,179,025 contributors, followed by the agricultural system (261,122), the Special Scheme for Self (194,963), the Household ( 177,545), the Sea (4610) and Coal (720).
Within the general scheme, a total of 235,634 foreigners, 19.99%, worked in the hotel, while 16.84% did so in trade (198,550 members) and 14.85% in construction (175,110 contributors .)
Catalonia and Madrid concentrate 43% of immigrants.
Autonomous communities, Catalonia and Madrid concentrated four out of ten foreigners on Social Security in January, by adding between the 43.42% of all immigrants occupied. In particular, foreign Catalonia had 398,148 contributors, while in Madrid the figure was 391,296.
After these two regions were located Andalusia, with 218,909 foreign affiliates, Valencia, with 199,764 employed, Murcia, with 87,400, Castilla-La Mancha, with 80,545, Canary Islands, with 80,139; Aragon, with 62,800, Castilla y Leon, 59,509; Balearic Islands, with 58,438, and the Basque Country, with 50,662.
The communities with the lowest high presence of immigrants in social security at the end of January were Galicia, with 38,537 foreign Navarra, with 25,869, La Rioja, with 16,406; Extremadura, with 15,689; Asturias, with 15,370; Cantabria, with 11,888, and the autonomous cities of Melilla, in 4001, and Ceuta, in 2617.
