Japan announces aid to provide liquidity to global markets for developing countries

Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso has formally announced at the summit of the G-20 held in London that his government would provide liquidity to the international market and help boost economic growth in developing countries, officials said Japanese.

Among the package of measures include allocating additional $ 22,000 million in aid for trade over the next two financial years, increase official development assistance to Asian countries to 20,000 billion and double aid official developing African countries by 2012. Read the rest of this entry »
