Foreign exchange control - state activities aimed at ensuring the currency legislation in the implementation of currency transactions. Currency control in Russia is carried out by the RF Government, bodies of exchange controls and currency control agents. Legislator calls the two monetary authority: Central Bank of Russia and Government of Russia. Monetary authority within its competence: - Publish regulations binding all residents and nonresidents in Russia. - Monitor ongoing in Russia by residents and non-monetary transactions, the conformity of the operations law, the terms of licenses and permits, as well as their compliance with acts of exchange controls; - Conduct inspections of foreign exchange transactions of residents and nonresidents in Russia. In addition, the main territorial management of the Bank of Russia: - Check availability for businesses, citizens realize the goods (works, services) for foreign currency, proper authorization of the Bank of Russia and in his absence suspend operations in the accounts; - Direct statement on the implementation of the legal person without proper authorization (license) in various government agencies; - Take other measures. Customs authorities of Russia carry out currency control over the movement of persons across the customs border of Russia, except for the perimeters of free customs zones and free warehouses, Russia currencies, securities in the currency of Russia, currency values, as well as for foreign exchange transactions associated with the movement through specified limit of goods and vehicles.
